National Seminars and Presentations
The College Board's Access & Diversity Collaborative offers special seminars and presentations designed to equip higher education leaders with strategies and resources for effectively advancing their campus access and diversity goals. The seminars are often associated with other College Board Advocacy and Policy Center meetings and seminars, the College Board Colloquium, the College Board Forum and other key national meetings.
Seminars are led by national policy experts and will feature newly developed tools and resources designed to facilitate policy evaluation and team training on campus.
In addition, a special video series is now available to provide institutions the core content and instruction available in past and current seminars. The videos facilitate exposure to the core concepts of access and diversity concerns in a campus-based professional development and training format. Full access to the videos and collateral resources is found on this site.
Institutions are encouraged to include the following staff when considering seminars, presentations or on-campus professional development:
- Enrollment management (admission, financial aid, and outreach and recruitment) and student services
- Institutional leadership (provosts, deans, legal counsel and president's office staff)
- Diversity officers, institutional advancement, development, planning and communications
- Undergraduate, graduate and professional schools
Visit the Resources section of the site and access Presentations for the full content of the most recent seminar power points to assist with on-campus instructions. The Toolkit and Models Blueprint are specially designed to facilitate the use of such resources in campus-based professional development activity.
